We offer 24/7, 365-day supervision so your family can have continuous care and real peace of mind. Directed Care, explained
McCormick Ranch Assisted Living holds an Arizona Department of Health Services “Assisted Living – Directed” license (AL11225H). Under Arizona Administrative Code Title 9, Chapter 10, ADHS licenses three levels of assisted living — Supervisory, Personal, and Directed — and Directed Care is the highest. It is designed for residents who need continuous, hands-on support and who may be incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing their needs, or making basic decisions about their own care — often because of cognitive impairment such as dementia or Alzheimer's.
In practice, that means our caregivers are trained and equipped to help with intensive daily needs: mobility and transfers (including Hoyer lift), bathing and dressing, medication and insulin management, and support for residents who are bedbound.
